I have to admit that I am new to double rifles and I don't know how close is close enough with respect to bullet weights. The first place that I looked for bullets was Buffalo Arms but I didn't see exactly what I was looking for. They have a 350 grain and a 450 grain bullet that I could drill a hollow point in to yield 340 and 440 grain bullets but nothing close to 380 grains. I understand that the original black powder loads used either 340 or 380 grain bullets and that the nitro for black loading used 440 grain bullets. I intend to purchase a bullet mould for a black powder loading and one for a smokeless loading but I don't know what to order...
