I have both, I like the home made one better. Supplies needed, about 6-8" of 3/4 wooden dowel, wood screw, duct tape, and a exacto blade. Install screw in end of dowel, leave screw sticking out about 1/4 to 3/8 , will be used to adjust length of trim,drill small hole about 2 7/8 from head of screw, tap exacto blade into hole with a slite feed angle into hole, wrap duct tape on dowel to make tight fit, one wrap. It will trim a case in about a second and you can adjust your length for your gun with the screw.
