King, once more, I'm not the one who started the whole mess by taking a cheap shot at anyone else's COUNTRY. Salopian commented about our "rolling over" on lead, then added stuff about how we pollute, etc. My only response was in regards to British GUN LAWS; nothing else about the UK. But it certainly got you all in a huff.

And how gracious of you to state that the intelligence business is an honorable profession, even if you apparently don't understand the difference between the CIA and the military. Perhaps you're thinking back to the old Intrepid days, when he was running black ops against the Americans to try to get us into the war--like a phony map, which was a BSC (British Security Coordination) creation, of how the Nazis planned to carve up South America after they won the war. No knock on Intrepid--he was just doing his job. But it's since come out that that was one error his biographer (assuming you're speaking of "A Man Called Intrepid") made in that book. ("This map was taken from a German agent . . . ") Back then, the OSS was military. CIA was not, and is not. Oh well . . . feel free to take more cheap shots at this country, King. Just don't whine when I respond in kind. Makes me think you're made of lesser stuff than men like Intrepid.
