OP Old Joe Sidelock Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 236 northern u.s.	You buy a shotgun from some one on the net and send $ for the gun + shipping + insuracne. Gun arrives and it has been broken in transit, cracked up stock or bent barrel but is otherwise as advertised. You don't want it. Do you send the gun back to seller and get all your money back, seller wait's for the insurance? Let us say the seller says 3 day inspection does not apply since gun was shipped as described, it is your gun after it left his ffl and you deal with insurance. How do you handle that?

If the rules of the website say there is an inspection period the sell can't just make his own rules. That is a big red flag when it see a statement like that.

How are you going to make the seller go through the time consuming process of getting the carrier to pay their dues? Or to get the product back and go though the same process of carrier insurance.

Certianly he will file a insurance claim and send the $ to you when he gets it. In most cases does'nt this become the buyer's problem if dealing with internet seller or small time gunshopp? Options if it happens to you?
