I am way ahead of you, sport.
Mine was in August when I was 50.Twenty years ago. They lasted for ten years and had to be redone.
Been there and done that twice.
I am told that I can do it again, if necessary.
Stents seem to be doing OK now, as the by-pass grafts failed after a few years.
I suppose that an engine replacement is good as long as the rest of the machinery works.
Actually, I have concluded that I have had enough. The heart and most else works but the brain is tired. As is the spirit. I have paid my dues and done my duty. Looking forward to the time of rest.
Just need to settle on what to do with my guns and such.
No more work to be done on this old body.
When the time comes, you young'uns will simply have to take up the load.:}
Best,
John
