I know what SixBears meant, but don't "Anneal" after you finish. If re-hardening becomes necessary you just want to "Temper" it at say 300°-350°F. An inadverdant slip up on terminology I'm sure, but annealing is a process which removes all hardening & leaves a part dead-soft. I can give no advice though as to what type of steel Fox used for these parts.
