You know if they made a XX size frame 16 or 20 Lefever it would be a real winner. That, or just bring out a G grade in 12 gauge. Be one heck of a upgrade platform to work with. I would send it right to a bare foot engraver for a little scratching.
I think there is more market for a new Lefever than there was for a new NID. Just another double might not be that big of a deal. The bulk of the Lefevers are 30 years older than the bulk of the Foxes, Smiths or Parkers. They were done first and show their age all too often. Just think how sweat a XX frame 28 with 30" barrels would be to have. Now that is a box to open under your Christmas tree next year.
