Interesting that none of the companies that made classic American sxs ever made OU's, except Remington. And they were no longer making their own sxs by then. Of course the OU didn't really catch on commercially until after the introduction of the Superposed, and by that time most of the American makers of sxs were in their twilight years. (I did exclude Savage and Marlin. But neither of those makers produced sxs on their own. They bought other companies that did.)

I seem to recall that Emil Flues made at least one (some?) OU. Think we may have discussed that here.
