I handled the New Ithaca Over under today. The top of the reciever resembles a Knick. I'm told they also plan a side by side though not exactly sure it will be the NID design. The gun was designed and built in Ohio and though it was a working gun, there was no engraving and the wood wasn't really finished or checkered yet. Target price is in the $2,500 range.

It was amazing to close an Ithaca Over under that didn't sound like a screen door slaming (SKB) It was distinctive looking but not too unconventional. The Ithaca guys told me they made 3500 guns last year and are growing.

I thought about you Walt. Looks like you might wind up adding another chapter after all.
