I do my own case colors and enjoy the metal and woodwork--been at it for just over 50 years, started when I was 15 with a bring-back WWII M-98 Mauser/8mm that our neighbor sold me cheap, kid's price !.... I worked on that Mauser for a year, did my own bluing, wood working to sporterize the military stock, shaved the wood with broken glass like my neighborhood gunsmith told me to, but I learned and loved it..... now I collect old Marlins as well as shotguns and other rifles....38-55, 32-40, 30-30, 25-36, 32-20, 45-70, 40-60 etc....and hunt with all of them....It is exciting to shoot an Elk with a rifle made in 1895...kind of a hoot...!..... Even more fun to load and cast for these old rifles...totally consuming I guess.....

Best Regards,

Doug
