And so what if he does jOe? What does it matter to you if he thinks his H&H is worth 15K? You plan on buying it? I doubt it. If its of no interest to you, why bother commenting?
jOe, since I've been reading your post, all these years, I really cant think of one time you contributed anything constructive. Everything from you seems to be negative. Maybe you didnt get hugged much as a kid, pops was a little rough on old jOey, kids at school pushed you around a little bit, stole your lunch money, whatever..... but you can change. The old adage applies here "If you can't say something nice, dont say anything at all". Wise words..obviously words you never heard as a kid.

I think you're probably a all right guy jOe, quit being so negative, and quit instigating drama.

By the way Binko, I like your Holland. I like the dipped edge locks, give the gun a different look. Here's a nice example from Champlin: http://www.champlinarms.com/Default.aspx...&GunID=1157

jOe,

I don't have to, others do. I hope you don't think that I would consider what you think to be of any value. Here's an add for an H&H, same as the one I have, only less desirable, IMO, which I think any sane person, that had an ounce of perception of "Real Value" would agree. It has no makers case, no finish on the receiver, has been re-barreled, and wood is not as nice, just to point out a few difference in the 2 guns. Now, these people certainly have a better feel of the market than some homeless person up in the moonshine state of Tennessee.

Study this ad jOe, you might learn something?

LeFusil,

Thanks for the support, but I can take verbal abuse, my ex of 25 years will attest to that fact, but I finally had enough, so I feel for whoever is receiving it now and glad it's not me. jOe is like her a lot, nothing ever pleased her and everything I ever did, bought, or made, was stupid and worthless. What is it with people like this, do they just have to knock everyone else down to make themselves look better. Maybe it's because they have such a feeling of inadequacy in themselves, that they have to spout their venom on everyone else. I think it is either that or a sincere feeling of supremacy, either way, they need help. Come to think of it, I have a few really close friends that are like that. I guess I attract those kind of people because I understand them. Let me say to all with this problem...GET HELP!

Binko If you had not priced it at 15k I wouldn't not have made a comment...in my opinion both the links you guys posted are over priced...one is thin walled at 19 thousands and the other is re-barreled.

But what do I know I been drinking Tennessee Moonshine.

Ps..LeFusil I never been drunk enough to buy a Darne.

You couldn't afford a good Darne jOey. Quit buying those crapped out, turkey shooting boat anchors. And this just in... lay off the Tennessee moonshine too, if your dad would've followed that bit of advice, you wouldnt have to call your mom "Aunty mom". Hindsight, its a muther f'er.

No need to ban me or shut down the thread, I'm just having fun with my inbred friend from the big rock candy mountains.

Considering the prices I have seen, I think $15K is a bargain for the gun, $2000 less than Cabela's price for less gun. Although, I too think it is over priced...all guns today, IMO, are over priced, but that, evidently, is what the market is now, like it or not. If you had it jOe, what would be your asking price? Let's see some of that "moonshine induced", market wise, logic!

I have only seen ,handled ,and shot 2 Boss Guns. My Uncle Gordon had one, dunno where it went after he passed. the other was owned by a hunter/guest here at the home place. Loved both of them. A hunter/guest from Gawja brought and left a jug of shine here this year. It aint bad and I like Darnes too...Prices are what people are willing to pay..

Thanks LD, that's a little hard to explain to some people, and it's all in what a guy likes. I'm a little partial to Kentucky Whiskey, and others like Tennessee Horse P****, but the bottom line, as you know, at the end of the day is...what's in the Bag, and what's in the bag don't care what kind of weapon they were fell by. The 1890 Parker here, does just as good as the 1890 H&H, so what's the point...only pride.

It's All Good, so here's to all great hunts for everyone, whether it's a full bag, a great whiskey, a great day, a great time with friends, or all or any of the above...good hunting!
