Filled out paper and mailed it Dec. 22. Today it came back stating not accepted, return to sender. Envelope was not opened. Mailed it to address on form:
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms
P.O. Box 845219
Dallas, Texas 75284-5219
Any one have any ideas?

Seems I remember being able to apply on-line. I have not checked to verify that, but it's in my mind for some reason. I have had a C & R for several years now, two renewals, and everything was smooth. My original application went to Atlanta. You don't have an old form with an old office address, perhaps?

When I originally got mine which was several years ago; I printed the form which was available online, filled it out and sent it in with no problems whatsoever. I'd suggest starting over and see what happens.

I had gotten the initial information from this site. Went in to where you can download the form ATF F 7CR (5310.16) (6-97)
I do see also on the back on paragraph 10. If you have any questions relating to this application, please contact the ATF Licensing Center, P.O. Box 2994, Atlanta Ga. 30301-2994, (404) 679-5040.
I guess I will give them a call Monday.
