There is no definitive answer. The world's in financial turmoil now because no one knew the value of anything. There's always people who'll pay exorbitant sums for things that others see as clutter, like a century of outdated National Geographics---or an old Trojan that brings back memories of Grandpa.

If I could get fifty cents an issue for the last 60 years of The American Rifleman, I'd be happy to have someone come an haul them away.

I sold a complete set from Jan 1938 to Dec 1976 with 20 years of the set in binders for $200.00 with the provision the buyer had to come and pick them up.

I got a stack of about 40 of them for nothing from the 60s and 70s. Someone left them on the "give away shelf" at our club and I asked the manager if anyone wanted them. He said to take them, because that is what they were there for and if I didn't , they were going into the garbage. They had been sitting there for about a month or so, so I took them. I gave some of them to guys on here. I still have some.
