Your 12 looks like my 10's cousin. Is the twelve a Triplex Lever Grip ? What kind of forearm release does the twelve have ?
My 10 gauge is reproofed for 3 & 1/2" Nitro, 4 tons and 1 & 1/2 ozs of shot. According to the Proof marks sometime after 1950. I shoot 10 guage black powder out of it or chamber mates 12's. It's heavy, almost 11 lbs with 32" barrels both choked about improved modified the drop points are 1 & 5/8" x 2" with a 14 & 1/8" pull to a skeleton steel butt.
