Well in Texas quail season doesnt end until February 22nd. In the South of Texas there is a dove season that starts tomorrow and ends the 13th of next month. Duck ends January 29th. There is a "White Goose" season that goes well into March. Sandhill Crane goes until February 8. Pheasant season in the Panhandle is open until the 4th of January. There are three Texas counties where you can hunt them til February 22.
Kansas pheasant is open until January 31st, as is the quail season. Didn't check the waterfowl seasons.
New Mexico's quail season runs until February 15. Didn't check their migratory bird seasons.
Oklahom's quail season runs through February 15. Didn't check their migratory bird seasons.
And I am going after Bobs on the Salt Fork of the Red tomorrow. And headed to hunt the Mulberry Saturday. And may try to make another trip up to LastDollar's country for pheasant before the end of next month. And Joe Wood is going to get fatter and even more out of shape if I don't get him out pretty quick - maybe up to the Northern Panhandle for some Pheasant?
