Hear John has terminal cancer, lives with Mary in Anchorage-John grew up near the Holcomb KS farm land area- was a USMC First Lt. in Vietnam. His pal back at the time of that great story was Ronald Rau, from my homestate- Just to let you know how much I liked that "Been there-done that (well, except for the farts like ripped canvas tenting I guess and them "G-D'd box elder bugs) when we flew into Stapelton in July 1988 on route to Alberta, we had a 4 hour layover, and I looked up John Zillich in the Denver area and chatted about Labs and Model 12's and windy day Pheasants in Western KS.
