28 degrees below zero???!!!! Those western birds must be a lot tougher than the ones here in the midwest. I don't recall ever seeing geese fly much once it got below about zero. Takes them more energy to get up and fly around than they can usually glean from feeding in that kind of weather.

Gotta love a 10 gauge and big grey geese. I'm going on a blackpowder Parker 10 gauge hunt here in a few weeks and I'm mighty excited.
