#2. The wrist is better, but I don't think the wrist layout in #1 is a problem. I prefer marbling to curve downward at the butt and I prefer feather to radiate downward from the comb. Trouble is, when both are present, they usually run counter to each other and I have to choose....feather radiating down trumps all for me.

Without even looking at the wrist, #1 just looks upside down to me.

I vote for #2 also. Like Mike said, wrist set up aside, #1 is upside down.

If it was just a choice due to "Looks", I like #2, although, #1 would probably be more what I'd expect the factory to choose. Why?
