I got this e-mail recently and, apparently, all I have to do is contact these nice servants of Bill G. to get a cool million. The first thing I'll do after they deliver the money is buy a Purdey for a board member selected for looks and a certain transactional view of personal morality. In both respects, my sole judgement will apply.

Nice to know this helps fight poverty. (on the other hand, there may be enough information in the e-mail for someone here to snatch my (much deserved) loot out from under my nose. You wouldn't do that? We're all friends here, right?

For all the rest of you, I have yet to receive the application packets, including photos and lists of prior convictions!

These are the same guys that wanted to buy my Porsche. They supposedly saw it on the web and had to have it, not that it was even for sale. So I told them I wanted some outragious amount for it. They were going to give me a lot more than I was asking even. Of course I had to wire them the change.....<;-)

I can't believe people still fall for that scam.

Well I have just opened the very first (I believe) Scammers Academy here in Sunny Shropshire.Scam artists are cordially invited to drop in where Eugene will welcome them and make them feel comfortable and at home, suitably relaxed they are introduced to 'moi' who then procedes to batter the living daylights out of them and re-configure them into decent hardworking upstanding citizens and fully paid up members of the Labour Party. (Tony needs friends and these particular friends have the psychological profile of Cabinet Members)
