Mike: the top is 2 Iron Crolle', Damas Anglais, English Two Rod, Hufnagel, or 'Oxford'
The middle is 3 Iron as above
The bottom is of course Twist

I'm thinking this was probably a Salesman's Sample Rod for the 1878 hammer gun rather than the 1883 hammerless, which had nicer damascus

Three Iron 'Turkish'

Paul's gun with 'English Best' Four Iron 'Turkish' similar to what would be found on D grade Parker and Remington guns and Baker Paragons

I've added those pics to the 'Colt and Remington Damascus' PictureTrail album http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/17067005
and the Colt Damascus chapter of DamascusKnowledge.com http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dfg2hmx7_208grk88gct
with your attribution and thanks!!
