Steve, that's true, but you can't ever hope to sell 3000 if you're scared to risk selling even one! In the words of my not-so-gentle Grandmother, "Cain't never could!" This approach is a proven money-generator if done properly, since the major work of writing and editing is already done. To name only one example, why do you think Brett Boyd collects and reprints his SSE? How about the proven and easy-to-duplicate example of Dave Brennan and Precision Shooting? This is one of my soapboxes and now I'll get off, but not before I say that Dave Brennan showed the way to triple the membership and quadruple the content of the magazine(s) for the organization he serves. Please think about it.
