jOe the answer to your question is ,most likely yes. If It shot as well as it does today, and the price was fair, and I wanted it, yes. I dont buy guns for display, I shoot em all. I dont know if my Dad knew it was bulged, if he did , he didnt care...Bulged rifle bbls can be compensated for by standing the bullet on end, striking it sharply with a hammer until the bullet shape matches the bbl. How about that?

If the accuracy is real, the bulged barrel didn't bother me, and I really liked the gun, I'd buy it but not before some price negotiation.
However,,If the damage in the rifle barrel is going to bother you at all in any way,,,then just walk away from the gun. If nothing short of a perfect rifle bore will satisfy you, don't trouble yourself with the gun. It's not worth buying and then trying to figure a way of making it right.
