I picked up a Modified Diana marked "Pieper Arms Co." at a local gunshop last year. Amongst a whole rack of garden variety doubles the quality of the gun was evident. Used but not abused. Greener crossbolt, twist barrels and of course steel chambers. Have used it quite a bit with 7/8 oz. low pressure loads and am very happy with the gun. I've got some fancier stuff but the Pieper has become my everyday hammergun. Obviously it is a well made gun and not a JABC. One fellow tried to buy it on the spot while I was shooting the hammergun event at the Vintage Cup but I turned him down. Jagermeister is giving good advise.
