The first picture of the first Parker shows a pin through the side panel of the buttstock. I cannot see it in any others. The stock finish looks like it was put on over partially cleaned and sanded wood... blotchy. The forend wood does not look scorched, but more like it was very filthy and oil soaked, especially near the iron. This is difficult, but not impossible to clean. I'm certainly no "professional", but I've done better on a couple forends that looked like ebony.
