Couldn't interest one of the ol'Labs in getting up yesterday morn, so I unpacked the Sterlingworth and cased-up the Cooper 17Hmr and headed for the woods.
A light snow on the ground and the guns of deer season over, my squeaker sounded like a fog-horn in the valley I hunted.
Seems like a nice way to spend an early winter's day.
My brother has some pelt stretchers and practice, so I won't be leaving them lay for just the cull of it all.
Anyone try their hand at shooting foxes?
