Have been mule deer hunting with Jerry Fisher & Friends for the past several days east of Roundup, MT. Got to see a 1970's vintage 30-06 Fisher rifle and a 1980's Fisher ( both Mauser's) in 7x57 with Tom Burgess metal and Tessier walnut, with Jerry there to comment on each. A shortage of lighting and an excess of bourbon prevented me from capturing photos, except of Fisher's well worn 7 mag (about '60's vintage) with the 3 point he shot. I'll post maybe later.
Keep me posted on the quality of ebony, sure sounds like a reasonable price if it's good and black! Also wonder about getting good horn, but I'm really afraid of it since ther worms attacked my powder horns!!!!
And keep any info on staining coming (GSP, pics just posted on PhotoBucket!?!? Will send how-to's as email if you want. Anyone else can't see my pics?)
