You have to make sure that there is enough room in the hull after loading your componants to allow for a 6 crimp (fold, and after cutting them down and using your componants I don't think there will be. If there isn't at least 1/4" of free space then your fold crimp won't meet in the center and you will have a hole where the pellets might come out. You could also put an overshot card on top of the shot to stop that.
If you are going to shoot this all the time and want 2 1/2" hulls and your componants don't work then you will have to find something that does. That is why I said I cut the Remingtons to 2 5/16" with the componants I used and roll crimped them.
I forgot to mention in the other post, but one of the most important things to have is a scale, either a beam or digital.
You also might want to look for another wad, unless you have a lot, because they are no longer made. You might fnd a substitution.
