When I told my good friend James Tucker about this stain, he wrote back that he was getting something to Slow the drying time! I said, "Why would you want to slow any stock finishing!?!>"
I stained maple longrifle stocks for many years and grew accustomed to working rapidly. (notice the blurrur of my handdss in the ffirst picc)
But thanks K&J, I'm sure others will benifit from your suggestion, Tucker concurs.
