Very nice guns! Mine is pretty much of a beater but mechanically alright and accurate enough for groundhogs out to 100-125 yards. I picked it up at a country auction for 120 bucks. A gunsmith friend lined the barrel and put on the scope blocks for 100 more. I think I had 75-100 in the scope so the whole rig set me back about 300 I guess. I was going to have it lined in 17 rimfire but after reading the ballistics of 17 VS 22 mag and the cost difference of the shells figured 22 mag made more sense. The slight accuracy I might have picked up with the 17 wouldn't have made that big of a difference to me as I'm not that great of a shot. Gunsmith sighted it in for me at the range for 100 yds. My brother and I set up some 12 oz. soda cans and when I found out I could put five shells out of five in a soda can at 100 yds. figured that was good enough.
