At one time or another I have owned Scott guns in most grades including, Premier, Excellentia and Monte Carlo B. In my opinion your gun is a W.& C. Scott & Sons, lever-lock grip patent hammerless gun, Described in Scotts catalogue circa 1891 as having a plain finish. The incorporation of a "dogs head" in the lock plate engraving is in my experience, typical of guns of this grade.
