Ithaca5E, always possible, I hope not, as JayCee says above MythBusters couldn't make it happen,on purpose, picture nimrods trying to do it. I noticed the video also. I have been out with a lot of hunters and these are pretty inexperienced, you and I would still be looking that rifle over, and shaking our head over the fact that we dodged one. They run over as if those are the only Elk they have ever seen, and I believe they are. I should introduce myself, from central Wyoming, [this is a great site],
hunt and shoot quite a bit, and yes I do get out with my doubles.

Wordus? Word Up? What's up with dat, Jack? What the hey- I done deleted a few-off the end. But show me in the Big Book of Dave Weberdom where there is a "limit on words herein". Or for that matter, does your interpretation of the beloved First A. have some extra clauses I ain't read. I know Bobby Dylan said "Times are a changin'", but NOT that much, Dude!!

rwtf,
in the first place, you have no first amendment rights to post to this board. this isn't a federal government board. it's dave webers. he can do as he pleases.

in the second place, it has nothing to do with how many words you use per se. rather it's the lack of grammer, the lack of and incorrect use of punctuation, and the rambling style of writing. your posts are borderline gibberish and virtually impossible to extract any useful information from. they're unreadable. if you used fewer words, for e.g. all those irrelevant to your point (if you have one), your posts would make more sense.

rwtf, also keep in mind that Geno's Russian and while his English is probably better than 90% of our high school graduates, i'm sure idioms and expressions would still be confusing to say nothing of trying to read run-on sentences, sentence fragments, and seemingly random unrelated thoughts thrown together. at least his posts are intelligible and useful.

Sorry there "Teach" I'll try to do "gooder" and if Geno is from Russia (how do you know dat?) what area? What are the gun ownership regs. like in the USSR? Can the average ordinary guy get to hunt? Just curious, and did our great Southern Sate of Georgia get named from that Russian province in the SW sector? I always have "Georgia On My Mind"--what a peach of a gal.. Foxy

Geno hails from St Petersburg and is a real Ruskie hunter. Haven't you seen the pictures he posts of that beaut of a Red Setter he has. He is also an expert on guns and answers all the Russian Gun questions around here.

My Georgia was named after the Brit King George. Must not have been the third though, cause that's who we took it away from. I don't know about the one Russia is always fightin'with...Geo
