i did not strictly speaking have a "simson" but i did have a BSW which so i understand was a simson by a hitler approved name. it was an oustanding gun as far as build quality. i couldn't shoot it well. it came from champlins for something in the low teens and i sold it on consignment there for the same thing. it was about half that coverage of engraving but had most of its original finish including case colors.
the seller does have a rating - 136 i believe - and all positive.
oh, mine had original 2-3/4" chambers but my gun was IIRC 1937 or 1939. even if it had 2-1/2" chambers that's not the end of the world.
