This J.V. Needham (Greener) was advertised as a pigeon gun.


After some discussion on this board I believe it to be a fowler. The automatic safety is the only feature that would make it so. The 30"" barrels choked F/F with a flat rib, the 2 3/4" chambers and the weight at 8 pounds would suggest pigeon gun. I believe it was advertised as a pigeon gun because it has more appeal. The gun has extremely good balance and makes a wonderful fowler and clays gun.
