Good Morning Randy, Now you get to hear from an old fart Dutchman and his aging Lab, who are licking their wounds from a tough 3 day grouse hunt. That little furball in your left hand is on the ball, right paw holding the junk around your neck from rattling around, and already zoomed in looking for the incomers to clear the tree tops. I am looking for a started pointing Lab to be my last grouse dog. Back in the '70's there was a Dr. VanC____ and his dad up in your neck of the woods who had pointing Labs and I have always wanted one. My old Lab, a field trail wash out with Lotte as his grandmother, and who has the best personality of all of our Labs over the last 40 years unfortunately is slowing down in the 'pat' woods so it is time to get him some support. Sex or color isn't important, a nice 'too close' hunting buddy is what would be just the ticket. If you know where I might find one let me know. I have a very minty, light weight, original early L.C. Smith Ideal Grade 28" 20 gauge with the push button forend latch that could be available, (NOT FOR SALE) or some fine bank note engraved art work with portraits of dead presidents to trade for a good hunting buddy. Thank You for your time. Life is Good, always treat it with respect!
