No offense but, that's what I like about you guys. You don't like the Model 21 (or other guns) because it is too heavy, then when you buy these whippy little guns with their skimpy little forends (among other things), you complain (which is why I like a heavy gun) that it comes up through the bird. How did that song go? "Things that make you go hmmmmmm".................Denny Crane

That's why I put my 20 gauge Superposed back in the safe after a few rounds of skeet. Too whippy for me. But you do have a pretty gun, though, Researcher. Good luck with it.

I like shotguns. Lots of them! I've got 12-gauges from 6 pounds 5 ounces to 9 pounds 6 ounces, 20-gauges from 5 pounds 12 ounces to 8 pounds 4.5 ounces (and have owned lighter), and 28-gauges from 5 pounds to 7 pounds (and have owned lighter). In my days of NSSA Skeet shooting I was most consistant with my Model 3200 tube set that weighed in at 9 pounds 6 ounces with either the tubes or the compensating 12-gauge barrel weight in place. Doesn't mean I want to carry it on a long trudge after birds!
Trap isn't really my game, so yesterday I shot it two rounds of Skeet for a 19 and 18. Not much margin for error at Skeet ranges with the modified and full chokes.

I will be satisfied with an 18 and 19 at skeet with my new RBL 32" .410. It will be bored full and full. I hope Tony doesn't raise the price too much. The clock is still running, I see.

Dave, a very fine gun with an awesome piece of wood. Congrats.
For the gents speculating about a 32" 410, I have a 28/410 stackbarrel set, both barrels are 32". The gun is just awesome at skeet and subgauge sporting with either barrel. If CMC offers a 32" 410 in the RBL I'll be one of the first to sign up. Silvers

I have a 20 RBL and a 28 RBL now. Maybe I am crazy or maybe I am just not thinking but I think having one of each (sort of a composed set) of each RBL will be an interesting mini collection and maybe something that will appreciate in later years. That means i will most likely have to buy the next offering. I dont get back for almost a year so its no big deal to me to have to wait.

I don't want to upset anyone, but when the 28's came out my friend wanted me to order one with him and I even filled out the order form and then didn't place the order with him.Two weeks ago he had his new 28 at the club and the workmanship is great and the gun is beautiful it has 30" barrels. AS soon as I picked it up I was sure glad I didn't order one.It had no pointabilty what so ever and he proved it on the wobble trap and the regular trap where he couldn't hit the ground with his empties. He is a good shot.
I think the gun might be a better pointer with 26 or 28" barrels. It dosen't seem to have any weight between the hands. Just my opinion.

I've heard about those guys who are "good shots" but don't seem to be able to hit anything with certain guns or on a day when I happen to be shooting with them. And the poster knows HE can't hit anything with the gun and he hasn't even shot it yet. I will certainly not be ordering an RBL after hearing that story.
