In my opinion, the overhead chukar shot screaming down canyon is one of the toughest in wingshooting. I think they have been clocked at 947mph. It seems like it at least. Two days ago, a friend flushed a bird above canyon and called my name, knowing I was below him. I was behind a big rock, and couldn't see the bird coming, so I had no idea if it would fly overhead or on which side of the rock he would appear from. It ended up passing to the right, and I had a split second to mount the gun, swing past, and shoot. The open choke (ic) from my Lefever with 1 oz. 6's pasted the bird at 30 yards, although it ended up falling about 60-70 yds away. I agree with the previous post that said that seeing the bird too far ahead of time is a hindrance, leading to "tracking" the bird.
