I was digging around and came up with this obit. I believe this is our Saxton Shotgun seller. While the guns seen are older than this, I can not but help think this is the genesis, a hardware store in New York with Birmingham ties. I will try and dig around some more and see what else I can surface. If anyone has a Field hardware store catalog, please look to see if they were marketing Saxton shotguns.
