You very well could be correct about the two models which became the Grade 14 - the small difference between a Grade 2 and a Grade 3 could be a small difference in the amount of engraving and checkering. Another project for the future is to get hold of good close-up photos of guns that represent each different model over the years of production and produce a brochure to aid in identification of Francottes. All I need is more time.
