I'm looking for a Guild member in the Portland, Oregon area, who can weld the following parts:
* Replace a broke tab on a safety slide. The remaining tab is about 1/8 inch long. I will then file to shape and drill
* Add aproximately 1/8 inch of metal to the front edge of the trigger safety tab (2). I will file to shape.
Thanks for your help.

I'm not so sure you need a guild member....your local micro welding shop can do it. I could do it for you but I will be off hunting for the next bit....Try Bill G on this forum, he can handle it. Steve

Contact Robert Evans in Oregon City. Mr Evans is an engraver, I think the first President of the Engravers Guild. He had a local micro welder do a repair on the upper tang of a Holland & Holland shotgun for me. He recut the engraving after dressing the weld. Had we refinished the gun, it would be impossible to detect; as it is, it is quite difficult to spot.

Keith Kearcher can probably do it, or refer you to someone who can.
