It is just a matter of aesthetics. I like the lines of the '69 better. I would not turn up my nose at a '71, but it is the '69 that has won my heart... but it has to have the pierced lever.

But then again, I have been accused of liking Rollers and Hepburns, so in come circles my judgment could be deemed suspect.
