It's a 2 3/4 power Ziel Dialyt on a Stoeger mount. Like most scopes of its day, elevation is adjusted on the scope body and windage is adjusted by the two large screws on the rear of the mount itself.
The optics are perfect and it holds zero perfectly when you remove and replace it. It's not super tight when you flip the little lever down, but there is no free play, meaning I suppose that it's nearing the end of its wear cycle (my supposition) so I don't take it off and on any more than I have to. I shoot the rifle a fair amount and with 220 grain Hornady's it has printed several clover leaf groups. But I keep velocities in the 2200 - 2400 range mainly because I don't want to batter the scope mount more than anything else. It would probably take all I could give it, but I'm only a temporary caretaker.
I have thought seriously about having a pantographed stock duplicated off of it so I could take it hunting without fear of scratches or water damage.
