Page 4.Iv'e not heard the Lancashire sparrow gun name,but in 1881 a 3.1/2" chambered 20b Purdey could have been used to shoot "Peasants"!!!!!I have a 'Eley' or a Early ICI Catl. with a description of said shell. When I'Cased the finished gun, I turned up' a pair of Ebony 20b 3.1/2"'dummys'.I had the complete'Unit'at the Northbrook Shoot last May.Barry L Hands has Several good photos in his computer. I think 'The worlds Youngest'Old Writer' shot on a Starling Shoot in the Isles of Britain several years ago. CC
