Early Lefevers had the sears with their springs mounted on the sideplates. To the best of my knowledge none were ever full sidelocks as all had the hammers & mainsprings mounted in the frame. Also I believe that all H & DS/I grades were of the type having frame mounted sears as well as the large single cocking hook. If anyone has knowledge of one otherwise would love to hear about it.
