It came home the other day, and we went Prairie Grouse hunting in the Sandhills of Nebraska. It works!

Ithaca sold a few more of them over the next 3-4 years. that's the last ones. The gun pictured here is from early -mid 1890's. They Do hold Up Well, Don't They !!! OP Last Dollar Sidelock Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 2,814 Likes: 2 Great State of Kansas	TT I have settled on a load of around 21gr 800x ,1oz shot,SG16 wad in a 2 3/4 hull, Federal Purples or Fiochi hulls. Pressure supposed to be +- 7k, mild recoil.....seems effective. BTW hunting those sandhills around Thedford is the most strenous (sp)upland gunning I have ever done. I love it, gets me in shape for elk season! Going back next week....Miller, Lefever never really closed, Dan is in hiding with Elvis!
