R.L Wilson was supposed to have put out a book on the Winchester engraving but I have never seen it.

I found it!! John A. Gough joined the Design Lab staff around 1906 and was there until Winchester closed the lab in April 1917 because of WW1. After the war the lab was reopened with William Stokes and Herman Ulrich, but Gough left the company to pursue a career in engraving and other things. But his engravings of the Winchester rifles and shotguns are supreme....... Thanks for all your help, anyway, guys.
