It is damn nice!
I find the all the Starbuck's recipes too strong for my taste. Toot 'N Totum Convenience Stores' Classic is my choice.

This is a no-brainer. Make perfectly good coffee at home for 10 cents a cup, or maybe have Plant 11 toolroom coffee which tastes just fine with powdered creamer and jolts you like a defibrillator at 25 cents a cup when at work. Accumulate the savings and spend them on doubleguns and other toys. I never spent 5 bucks on a Starbucks coffee, and would be reluctant to do so if it would save me from death by dehydration. My favorite coffees are the ones we have at 4:30 AM with breakfast at deer camp... the ones with coffee grounds in the cup that you drink before the march through the snow to visit the outhouse before the trek to your stand. Tip: do this before putting on your scent-lock clothes. No sense filling up those carbon layers before you hit the woods.
Voting for anti-gun Democrats is dumber than giving treats to a dog that shits on a Persian Rug

Guess I got it wrong. I don't drink coffee. Diet Pepsi is my morning drink. Can't stand the taste of coffee. But I would go with Chuck H's stock every time.

The best coffee of my lifetime comes from ten minutes' worth of morning meditation over the jesvah, waiting for the foam to start rising. There's also room for a plastic cup of cheap powdered cappucino imitation from the shopping mall parking lot automat, after the saturday shopping marathon with the better half. But paying a hefty premium for a seat in a "fashionable" joint - that's something I'd rather not. Am I getting the point here?

Try sugar and creamer, Gordon. I don't like coffee either unless I make pudding.

I've never had a good cup of coffee from Starbucks or any convenience store or fast food joint. In my opinion the only difference is that Starbucks costs more.
While staying in a luxury hotel in Seattle I tried some Torrefazione Italia Coffee, Perugia Blend. Believe it or not this is made in the USA by Starbucks, but their over the counter stuff is mere swill compared to Torrefazione's nectar of the gods.
Available from Cooking.com and some gourmet shops. Not too expensive and you can brew yourself a wonderful cup of coffee for much less than Starbucks or even 7-11 rotgut will cost. Any extension of this particular coffee experience to the cost/quality of shotguns is at the risk of the reader. Terrafazione used to have a coffee shop in downtown Portland before Star Nazi's bought them out. That truly is the nectar of the gods, and it was my favorite coffee shop anywhere. I hate Starnazi. As to the gun metaphor, I have champagne tastes on a beer budget. I just bought a Lefever H, and had to sell a gun to do that. But guess what? It's sweeeeet, and I love it.
