Geno, Very nice. Those woodcock look to be twice the size of ours. Good looking dog, need some action pictures.

Always enjoy your photos! I shot AT doves this evening. Killed the first one, a high right to left coming in. My shooting degraded after that. Best to you, Kurt

Geno thanks for the pictures. I really enjoyed them and they whetted my anticipation for hunting with pointing dogs here.
About forty-five days till quail season opens here in Texas.
Best,
Mike

Geno, old friend: You have been missed here on the BBS. Hope all is well other than the shooting. Best regards, John

Nice mixed bag shoot, that's a great photo. The woodcock must be coming down early this year. Or are those local birds?
I'm envious of the double snipe, always wanted to shoot one. But I've killed the regular ones and the big european woodcock as well so I'm not totally without.
First time I've seen a picture of a real working Irish setter since I don't know when. They're mostly all show dogs over this way anymore.....

Sorry, no guns on pics this time. Prommise next time. I got 2 guns only now, B-25 and Purdey SLE circa 1908, the rest guns been sold out. Purdey for special days only and B-25 for every day use This weekend we switched on ducks a bit and 2 years old red dog began to retrieve in right way and in hands.
