As one who spent many years in Washington, DC, I became very fond of M.E. Swing's coffee and I still have it shipped to me out on the Washington/Idaho border. In my many years in Washington, DC, one of the few times I agreed with The Washington Post was back when Starbucks was first coming into the area. The Post's food critic said "Starbucks buys cheap beans, burns them, and tells Yuppies thats good." From then on the cognoscente at building 213 refered to them as "Charbucks."
