As background, I recently acquired a Miroku-made Charles Daly model 500 with double triggers and extractors for Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS). I usually shoot a Winchester 97, but I use a double when occasionally shooting black powder. Somehow it became my fifth double gun. Anyhow, its triggers were not crisp, nor light. I had it slicked up by an excellent CAS smith. The trigger internals had some rust, which he cleaned, and he set the triggers to 3.5 lbs. with a 2nd stage to prevent an AD. I left the barrels at 30" as could not bring myself to cut them (a CAS thing).
Anyhow, he mentioned that the Daly internals were identical to an SKB that he had. I know that Miroku made the Browning BSS SXS, and still makes singles (BT-99 trap) and OU's (Citori, etc.) for Browning. Did they also make guns for SKB at one time?
