My local Sportsman's Warehouse is now down to $39.99 for shot, down $10 from their high of $49.99.

Jim, that's as good as any news I have heard lately on shot. A Sportsman's Warehouse opened a mile from my house a couple of months ago. I have been in there twice and haven't spent a penny. It looks like I might finally have a reason to use the $10 off certificate I got from Ducks Unlimited.

My club is still selling it for $35.00. This month my club will be having our "Fall Festival Trap Shoot" and we will have trucks coming in selling supplies. It should be down more by then. I will keep you posted.

Some time ago, Bass Pro was $60 but I haven't been in one lately. Our closest Bass Pro in in Vegas.

Jim, the only gun shop in my town prior to Sportsman's Warehouse opening was also at $60 a few months back. I had to ask because the price wan't posted. I was told at that point they were going higher. At the time I was getting it from Connie's for $39 per bag shipped when bought it multiples of 2. I'd like to do business locally but if I was getting it from an online source at $40 per bag including shipping and not buying in volume, I can't see the local store justifying more than about $45.

What brand and type of shot is that, for $39 shipped? Is it hard, high antimony, from a well known mfgr.? Sounds like a good price if it's good shot.

I just bought some through an order with my local trap club (Jefferson Gun Club in WV) @ $32.50 a bag delivered. They said that the suppliers have lots of unsold stuff. STS's were $64 a flat.
